For each subject, patient or volunteer who in all cases has given informed consent to the participation in the study, the information is coded to guarantee discretion and total secrecy. Gender, age and other characteristics are registered in accordance to the computerized medical (BMS, Cross), that has been introduced in the Psychiatric clinic at the Karolinska Hospital.

Systematically important information is registered regarding the development of the individual, from the prenatal time, through delivery, childhood, puberty and the adulthood. Also usual anamnestic information from previous psychiatric and somatic illnesses, family anamnesis etc. in a structural way is taken into account.
