Obstetric Complications

There is a lot of evidence indicating that complications in the gestational period and delivery may contribute to the later development of schizophrenia. In the "Obstetric Complications" domain, data is collected from medical records on obstetric complications and environmental factors and trauma in the gestational and early childhood period. The "McNeil-Sjöström scale for "Obstetric Complications" is used for data extraction and items from this scale are stored in the HUBIN data base.
