Erik Jönsson - Psychiatrist and Researcher

It has been known for a long time that schizophrenia is a disease that may be caused by inherited susceptibility genes that are inherited from the parents. However, it is only in the past decades that we, thanks to more and more sophisticated genetic analysis methods, have begun to get a picture of what genes are involved. One of the researchers at HUBIN that work with genetic schizophrenia studies is Erik Jönsson.
