Ester Henning:
a special artist
The Swedish artist Ester Henning who suffered from schizophrenia
was treated in mental hospitals during 66 years. During that time
she produced a large number of works of art. Some of these are shown
at Bror Hjorth's Hus in Uppsala in mars-april in 2001. This exhibition
will hopefully contribute to the growing interest in art created
by psychically ill persons.
