Problems with side effects are not taken seriously

One day in the library, Marianne caught sight of a brochure about support for relatives, which made her contact the social services. A social worker then visited Jan together with Marianne. As a result Marianne received compensation for working 5-10 hours per week at Jan’s home.

- I think it was good as a matter of principle. But I actually helped him day and night all year around, 24 hours a day. I never dared to go away on a trip, says Marianne.

Marianne thinks the medical side effects are a big problem which the doctors do not take enough seriously.

- "That’s just nonsense, you cannot have any negative effects with such a small dose", is something realtives are sometimes told. But my son's eyes locked even with small doses. The doctors have to listen more to what the patients say. Different individuals of course react differently, which is why blood analyses should be performed to measure the metabolites in the blood, thinks Marianne.
