The Swedish Schizophrenia
Organization
Relatives of people with schizophrenia
often bear a heavy burden. The best thing the society can do to
help them is to give more support to the sick patients. If the patients
live under fairly acceptable terms, their relatives will also feel
better. This is the picture that has emerged from talks with relatives
and with staff at Schizofreniförbundet, an interest group that
organizes people with schizophrenia and their relatives.
