The Norweigan Connection
Besides relatives and friends there are also
a few other things that attract him in the cold North. The winter
- which should be pointed out, is not very pronounced in Virginia
- with its cold weather and snow, for instance. Heimer has always
been interested in skiing, and he is never late putting on his skis
when an opportunity is given. It was also in the ski slopes that
he found his he found his Norwegian wife. The fact is, if it hadn't
been for his wife and his burning interest for medicine, Heimer
may have stayed in the ski slopes for the rest of his life.
